You’re invited to take part in a wedding expo unlike anything you’ve ever seen. The Not-So-Big Wedding Boutique & Challenge is your chance to show off your talents to a group of highly motivated brides-to-be in an upscale Potomac setting, share the media spotlight, and win a grand prize of $500.

Here’s how the “Challenge” part works, in a nutshell: Round up a team of no more than four other individuals who provide complementary wedding services (e.g. if you’re a caterer, find a floral designer, musician and photographer), and work together to create a wedding for $15K or less. It’s a real challenge--and in today’s economy, an idea that’s sure to appeal to brides, their fathers (!) and the media. Click here to learn more specifics on how the Challenge works.

Then comes the big day! On Sunday, November 8, from Noon-5:00 p.m., the Not-So-Big Wedding Boutique will take place at beautiful Rockwood Manor in Potomac, Maryland. At the Boutique, you’ll design a table that displays your team’s Not-So-Big Wedding Package in all its glory to a group of enthusiastic brides . Rockwood Manor, one of Montgomery Parks’ four Event Centers, is easily accessible from Bethesda, Rockville, Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C., just off I-495 and Clara Barton Parkway.

Here’s what you get for a team entry fee of $500:
